Acupuncture

Acupuncture is one of the oldest forms of medicine that exists. As a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture is used to rectify imbalances of  the energy life force known as "Qi".  Qi is said to flow through pathways in the body known as meridians. Inserting needles into points along these pathways, with appropriate combinations, brings the energy flow back into proper balance and allows the body to heal from disease. This dis-ease can show up as pain, chronic illness, or mental issues such as anxiety and depression.

Meditation

In a world of go, go, go, its important to take a moment to pause and breathe. Meditation allows you to enter a state of thoughtless awareness and take a break from the overactive mind. A consistent Meditation practice offers the benefits of stress relief, increased physical wellbeing, healing from illness, emotional balance, and an overall feeling of peace and wellbeing.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

Get the benefits of younger looking skin without the harmful chemicals and toxins associated with injections. Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, Gua Sha and cupping stimulates the circulatory and lymphatic systems, which deliver nutrients and oxygen to your skin cells.  By nourishing the skin from the inside out, facial rejuvenation will even out your complexion, promote your skin’s natural glow, stimulate the production of collagen,  improve elasticity,  and minimize fine lines and wrinkles.

Cupping and Gua Sha

Cupping and Gua Sha are complimentary therapies to Acupuncture and can be used on their own or within an Acupuncture session. Cupping stimulates the site of application by producing localized blood congestion and can be treatment for back pain, sprains, soft tissue injuries and pain associated with menstruation. Gua Sha raises "sha" to the skin surface and removes blood and Qi stagnation which is considered pathogenic. The process promotes normal circulation and metabolic processes of the body and can provide immediate pain relief from conditions such as muscle stiffness, fever, chills, cough, nausea and other symptoms.
